ABOUT

IMG-4958.JPG

Globally, an estimated 71% of human trafficked people are women and girls. One in four women experience domestic violence in their lifetime, and Rolanda Bell was a victim of both. Like a startling 98% percent of other domestic violence crimes, Rolanda’s abuse, which was emotional, physical, and sexual, was financial as well.

As CEO and founder of Sister 2 Sister Virtuous Women Of Order Inc. a 501 (C) 3. she has seen economic exploitation too often.

Without resources, it can be difficult if not impossible for victims to leave their situation. If they do, they usually have little money to set up their new life and are often drowning in debt or return back to their abuser.

Depression, anxiety, and complex post-traumatic stress disorder cause mental health and are common among survivors of abuse, making the healing process even more difficult by lack of support or outright disbelief when victims come forward. Your experience was valid—no matter how hard people try to take that away from you. You deserve to be heard and to heal.

Sister 2 Sister Virtuous Women Of Order Inc.

consistently demonstrates a commitment to organizational excellence, ensuring the highest quality programs and exemplary performance.

Sister 2 Sister Virtuous Women Of Order Inc. helps survivors build new lives and plan for the future, personal development, life skills, financial planning, economics, mental health, and gifts/ talents while finding work or starting their own businesses.

Though the donations and funding certainly help put survivors back on track, the entrepreneurial experience does something even better for their self-worth — often for the first time, these survivors have total control and can be their own boss.
